Rick began with training / teaching in 1995. His training took him to Israel, trained a short time under Elie Avikzar, the first Krav Maga Black Belt and served as Head of Krav Maga for IDF (Israel Defense Forces). Rick gained Elie's confidence immediately and Elie convinced Rick to represent his Krav Magen organization in America. Rick did so until Elie's passing in 2004, thus Frontline Krav Maga was born.  

 As Founder / Developer of FRONTLINE KRAV MAGA and FIGHTING CHANCE Rick has 27 years experience training and instructing real life self-defense fighting courses to women, children, senior citizens, security and police personnel from all the major U.S.  agencies. Additionally, Rick has taught many special training courses to a variety of specific groups such as United Airlines flight attendants and law enforcement officers and personnel from most of our top law enforcement agencies. 

After hearing too many stories of abduction, Seid created FIGHTING CHANCE because as a parent, with the same fears for his kids, he wanted to share his training for children, the most vulnerable of all developing Kids Fighting Chance anti-abduction training gaining him national recognition. Providing real solutions to life  threatening encounters by predators. 

For 27 years, Seid has focused his teaching on the practical and effective Israeli military and civilian self-defense fighting art Krav Maga combined with only street realistic aspects of other great arts such as BJJ, Muay Tai and Wrestling. 

Rick's reputation is of an innovator of Specialty Training programs and courses providing the average person,  regardless of age, size or gender, with the skills and fighting spirit needed to respond to a real-life attack, whether that be a carjacking, a home invasion, active shooter, rape attempt, weapon attack or threat or an abduction. His method of training is designed to bring the student to a high level of proficiency in the shortest period of time.
